Diagnostic steps

  1. Check CKP connector for corrosion/damage.
  2. Inspect reluctor ring for missing teeth or cracks.
  3. Test CKP signal during cranking with oscilloscope.
  4. Check air gap (0.5-1.5mm typical).
  5. Replace CKP sensor.
