Simptome

Cauze probabile

- Connect a scan tool and attempt to communicate with the TCM; record all additional communication codes stored in other modules.
- Check fuses and relays supplying the TCM.
- Visually inspect TCM wiring and connectors - look for scraping, rubbing, bare wires, burn spots, melted plastic; separate connectors and check terminals for burning or green corrosion tint.
- Verify power and ground at the TCM.
- If wiring, power, and ground are good, test or evaluate the TCM itself (many TCMs require programming after replacement). Sources rate the code as serious: the transmission may not operate correctly without TCM communication.
